This is the story of a 30-something counterdependent female.
We’ve all heard of condependency, but what does it mean when you’re the opposite?
What does it mean when you prefer to be alone, push people away, or insist you don’t help (even though you probably do)?
You may be a counterdependent, like me.
I’ve spent my entire life creating my own fun, attempting to take care of myself, and avoiding commitment. I’ve moved all over the United States alone, I’ve run away from relationships, and I’ve even called off a wedding.
It’s not easy being a loner in a codependent world.
In a world that seems to crave intimacy, I’ve had my own challenges. Here, I’ll share my own experiences, stories, and hopefully, bring light to this unique type of human.
Feel free to email me if you relate or would like to share your own story.
